HWR Set For DCS -

Graham, Wa. –

7-2-08 – The #68 HayWire Motorsports / KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry heads to Douglas County Speedway for round 4 of the Limited Late Model Racing Series championship chase on July 5th, 2008.

Fresh off the teams first LLMRS Main Event win and driver “Terrible” Tim McDougald’s first Late Model Main Event win, the #68 Toyota Camry and the HayWire Motorsports team set their sights on the 3/8ths mile oval in Roseburg, Oregon looking to solidify their place in the 2008 LLMRS championship chase. The HayWire Motorsports team had a great run going at DCS during the 2007 season, when a mechanical problem removed them from competition. The 2008 visit promises retribution for the Tacoma, Washington based team. “We had a great run going there last year, top-5 for sure,” said driver “Terrible” Tim McDougald, “But something went wrong and we ended up parked early. I’m looking forward to getting back there. The car is much better than it was last year, and we have some unfinished business there.”

Slowly climbing the LLMRS point standings has been the order of business for the #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry since leaving the first race of the season buried deep in the standings. “We had some early problems this year that put us in a deep hole,” said McDougald, “It’s been a slow climb to get out of it, but we’re seeing some progress. We’ve moved from 9th up to 4th in the last 2 events. I’d like to see that continue. But really, come race day, all I think about is that 1 race. The rest has to work itself out.”

Look for the #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry to continue climbing the points ladder as the HayWire Motorsports team continues their run in the 2008 LLMRS championship season. And be sure to catch the #92 RPM Sales & Service / Old West Graphics / Ringers Gloves / KMB Design Groups / Mauritsen Enterprises Pontiac Grand Prix on the Whelen All-American series schedule at Evergreen Speedway.
