Ok, here we go. This week will be a bit of a mess, I’m going on a little vacation. Sort of.

My wife has to take a business trip, so I’m tagging along. This means I will be gone all weekend. So you may not see a post until I get back next week. I know, what a great time to take a vacation, right in the middle of a car build. My crew is loving me, for sure.

For those of you here, be patient until I get back. For those of you in San Antonio, Texas, if you see a long haired freaky looking dude wandering around looking for good chili rellenos, stop and say hi and then point me in the right direction.

I do want to post a couple thanks. First to Nick at Racecar Supply for some very long phone conversations and a pile of great information regarding spindles. Nick has been and continues to be a huge help with the information to keep me heading in the right (or left?) path. Next goes to Mike Barrett for some great deals on parts to get us back on track with our build and doing so without wrecking our budget. It is always nice to see the racing community come together to help a fellow racer out, even if he drives a Toyota.

I think Dad’s plan is to continue on the front suspension on the #68 Toyota Camry while I’m away. Hopefully we will be in shape to put an engine in it the following weekend, which is also Donny’s first practice which I can NOT wait for!
